I got a hold of one of the ladies that were in contact with Viv on ivillage. I was sorry to find out that she had passed last December. Here is the e-mail she sent me;

I am so sorry I didn't know about you.  I would have let you know.  I didn't
find out until a day or so after the funeral.  Her sister, Amy, was supposed
to let me know.  I believe I found out by reading a post on the Frugal
Kitchen.  Viv and I used to IM everyday.  Yes, Viv passed away last
December.  I am curious about how you found me.  I am so glad that you did.
This email is going to be leaving me because we are going to have to change
our Internet Provider.

We are having a lot of storms and tornados, so I don't know if this message
will be sent to you...

Here is the Obituary that I copied from an online newspaper.

The sweet thing is that Viv's daughter, Stacy, has been able to correspond
by email with me.

I am so sorry that you didn't know any earlier.  If there are others on your
boards, who need the above info, please feel free to post it.

I do believe that Viv's passing was a huge surprise to all of her family.
She must have had more suffering than we realized, so she is no longer in
pain now.

Feel free to write back to me.

I thought some of you may like to know....
Gail

I do remember Viv. I'm so sorry to hear that she lost her battle. She often came to chats and was quite fun to have around! Thanks for sharing the news with us. Another candle to light.

Love and hugs...

Thanks for the follow-up, Gail. I recognize the name, but it has been a long time since she was posting at iVillage. Lauri

Thanks for letting us know, Gail. She used to email me because she had lived in the PA area near my home area, but we lost track of one another. I'm sorry to hear of her passing and especially that it was breast cancer. I thought she was doing well, so she must have had a recurrence. Hugs MK
