I'm glad to hear you are doing well, too. Retirement is great! Sleeping in the afternoon is great. Your family is growing as is mine. No new babies on the way but two grandchildren will marry this summer.
Have you seen my posts about Carolyn? Breast cancer hit her bone marrow pretty hard and we have Avastin to thank for her clean report last fall. Her blood counts, etc. stay in the normal range and her onc says he will do no more bone marrow tests as long as the counts are good. She feels good and does normal things. She has Avastin weekly three weeks on and one off, then one week another drug is added. Can't remember the name. I didn't realize we have Julie Jar to thank for testing Avastin.
When we met in Dallas the little grandson I brought with me, Christian, is graduating early this year and will go to Baylor on a full music scholarship. He was also accepted by SMU. He flew to NYC in Jan to audition at Julliard but had a terrible cold when he left TX and arrived there to very frigid temps and his cold got worse. He did not play his best and did not make it, but after seeing the city he really didn't think he would like being there other than the prestige of going to Julliard. We are happy to keep him near home anyhow.
Take care and enjoy life,
