Cathi has been dealing with a string of things that she should not have to deal with. Thankfully her sister is there and her daughters have been great. When Cathi is trying to tell me what is going on she is under so much medication, thankfully, that I might have misunderstood her. As I understand it she was being moved back to hospice and fell getting onto the transport and when they got back to hospice they realized she had broken her leg. Eventually they decided to operate and it went well and was healing very nicely and the next thing I hear is she fell and broke her hip. She said she was not sure if it was the fall or if the tumor that was there was the issue. This last week I have not been able to get through on her phones so I have had to rely on her daughter for info. I hate to bother her, she works nights and has a young family and also has had her own tangle with cancer. She is just a wonderful girl that has let me know how Cathi is. She told me Cathi is  not really eating well and I know the last time I talked to Cathi, she told me this hip thing took a lot out of her. I am so sorry I have not posted, but I seemed to have pushed the realist in me out of the way and have been praying for the miracle. I promise to try to do better. Hugs with wishes for better news. Joyce

I was just sitting around watching TV, and suddenly I started thinking about Cathi and wondering how she's doing, so I decided to check the board to see if there was any news. Thank you, Joyce for keeping us posted. I'm sorry to hear that she is not doing well, but thankful that there is plenty of medication to keep the edge off the pain. Tell Cathi how much she is loved.

I have been thinking of calling you to see how Cathi is doing. Thank you for posting and letting us know about her. She sure has suffered a lot and endured pain we can't even begin to imagine. Hope you and Vic are doing well. Hugs MK
