so please send positive vibes in the direction of Missouri tomorrow. She's very dear to me...stuck by my brother when he was diagnosed with prostate cancer and married him after all that! Anyway, she has had a lump that doctor's were "watching," it has grown in the last three months. Enlarged lymph nodes as well. And a CT scan of the lungs revealed a "shadow." They are both very positive it will be nothing. And I'm worried enough for both of them. I don't know what he would do without her, he's so crazy about her. And I should take an "MK pill" and say, I'm not going to worry til there's something to worry about. On the bright side, hubby had a consult with a vascular surgeon, and they don't think his legs or his carotid arteries warrant surgery at this time. They are just going to continue to monitor the AAA. If it gets any bigger, they won't have a choice but to operate on that. Right now, he's 3 millimeters away from surgery. Next big hurdle is the urologist. Went out to lunch with some friends today at a new restaurant. They told me I had to go see the girls' room. There is a sign that says..."don't imagine that you can change a man unless he's wearing diapers." I told them they wouldn't think that was so funny if their husbands were as close to needing them as mine is! Yeah, if you can't laugh about it, what are you supposed to do?

Anyway, send those good vibes to MO tomorrow.

Love and hugs to all...

Oh Lordy Bev, it just never ends. To me your sil's "watch" was no a good move. Darn it why do the docs think they can watch when they don't know what they are watching? Growing that fast, it must be an aggressive form of bc. I hope they move fast and get her some help. As for your hubby, I understand your feelings. Watching mine deteriorate so quickly is scaary. Hang in there and we'll go through this hand in hand. Hugs MK

Bev, I am sorry to hear about your SIL. I will be praying for her. Please let us know how things work out. {{{{{{HUGS}}}}}}}
