I talked to Cathi's daughter today. Cathi has not been answering the phone so at this point I have to rely on her. She has been just wonderful. I hate to bother her because she is working so many strange hours and I never know when is a good time. She is just the sweetest girl. I am so thankful she is keeping me updated.
She said her mom has not been getting out of bed and is understandably depressed. I am sorry I have not been posting but there really is no news. I am hoping I can clear my lungs up enough to fly out to see her. Seems the doctor thinks flying right now is not a good plan. I was just sitting here thinking a train might be. My other half is not able to go because he is trying to get his sisters family to come and see to her care. I am so sorry the news can not be better. Love to all. Joyce

Thanks for the update, Joyce. I've kept checking here to see if there's any news. Like you, I'm sorry it's not better. I am so thankful, though, that you are in contact with her daughter. Will keep praying for our dear Cathi.
I'm also sorry to hear that your lungs are not clear. Take care of you, too. Sounds like Vic has his hands full.

Dear Joyce....any news is news. She is an incredible lady, and depression is understandable. Cathi has fought so long and so hard. Such a light in all of our lives. Thanks for the update.

Love and hugs...

Now that Chuck has bone mets I appreciate even more what Cathi has been through all this time. Every time I have seen or talked to her she has been upbeat and never complained about pain. She is just now staying in bed? What a woman!!! Please tell her sister how much we all admire her for her grit and courage and how much we love her! Wish I could see her again, too, but that probably won't happen here on earth. Somehow we will all meet again for a great big breast friend get together in heaven! Hugs Mk
