There are stress fractures on the tibia, but they are healing. There are some tears in the miniscus as well as the Baker's cyst. However, lately the pain is gone for the most part, so the dr said we should leave well enough alone unless it begins hurting again. I'm for that, I do not want surgery. Meanwhile I will baby it along.

As for Carolyn, she still tells us as little as she can get by with. The last couple of times I have talked to her on the phone she has sounded pretty good, altho she admits she is tired and is resting more. She still has not learned her tumor markers nor liver enzymes according to her. I think I would remember and insist on knowing???

Chuck seems to be in terrible pain again, but insists he will be better soon. We are leaving for the airport to pick up Chris who is coming for another week, then he wants to go to an auction site and look at the equipment that will be auctioned tomorrow.Sure hope there isn't anything to catch his eye or he will want to go back tomorrow and It is a 2 hr drive from here. Like he needs equipment to buy.

Hugs to all, MK

Men always think they need equipment, don't they? My husband took great delight in telling me how he shocked the woman at the hardware store when he told her he was looking for an 8 inch ****** file. Never mind that we probably have 4 or 5 of them in the garage. I'm sure he would drool if had room for some real heavy duty equipment.

Glad to hear the knee is feeling better. Stress fractures... have you had your bone density checked?

Wish they could find a way to control Chuck's pain.

Take care. Rest up while Chris is there!

Love and hugs...
