Check the board often, but don't often have much to say these days.  Just don't understand all the !@#%$ that transpires for so little reason.  Thank you, St. Peter, for putting up with us, flawed though we may be!
Work has been a whirlwind lately.  We're busy trying to get our new union organized and ready for negotiations and trying to get a levy passed (it did!) at the same time.
Brianna turned three a few days ago.  Always a bittersweet day for me. I remember calling JoAnnie at 6:00 in the morning to tell her that we had a baby on the way...and knowing that she would be up, because she was getting ready to go to a different hospital for tests hospital that confirmed her mets.  "It's a good sign, don't you think?" she asked.  How I wish she had been right!
I had lunch with Benito today.  We should be celebrating her birthday this week.  Instead, we continue to grieve over her loss.  I do hate this friggin' disease!
Jo-Ann, how is that rototiller, girl?  Keeping you warm at night?  LOL  I am SO jealous.  I be happy with just a little one!  Becky, I haven't had a "Brother George" report lately.  You keeping him in line?  Or has he been out chasing skirts again?  And Cathi...well, you know I love you, sweet and wonderful lady.  Quit sitting on your hands.  God didn't intend for them to be sat on, I don't think.
Take care, ladies.
Love and hugs...

Hey, sweet girl!  It's so good to see you here.  Your brother would love to see you again!
Here's a hug as we remember JoAnnie.  So glad you were able to see her dh.  I'm sure it did him a world of good to be able to talk about her with someone else who loves her.
I'll see if I can find a picture of George to send you so that you don't forget us!
It's so good to see you here, dear friend.  I love you!

Bev, how good to see your post. You sound like life is keeping you busy and that, my friend, is a good thing; it keeps us from "noodling" over unimportant events, etc. Take care, Bev. Sending you an extra hug. Luci

Hey Bevie ! So good to see this post. I am glad you are okay.
How is Benito doing and how is JoAnnie's son Mike getting along ? I know you miss JoAnnie horribly, wish I was there
to give you a huge hug....sigh.

As for sitting on my hands, I have decided that is a thing of the past... with this bad arm..it just makes no sense...LOL

So glad you are enjoying Brianna..my grandkids are such
a joy. . They always make me smile....

Love you my friend !!!!

Bev, good to see you around. I was just looking at the pic of us at Fran's house the other night. Sounds like you are keeping busy, but please check in more often if you can, it's good to see you here.

Hey Bev,
Glad to see you. Hugs for you from me too. Yes, I miss Joannie too. I'm glad that you keep up with her family and that you are happy and enjoying your own.
Come when you can. I've been off a few days while I had 3 medical appointments and continue yard work. Guess I missed some things. Probably good.
Love and Hugs, Di

Hi Bev, I was away for a long weekend wedding in Florida and just returned. Good hearing from you that you are well and that you spent some time with Benito. Think of JoAnnie often, too, as I do all the other wonderful women we have lost in our group. I don't know what causes the sparks to fly so easily I tried to lay low this time, I was totally disgusted and still am. It was good to be away for the weekend, even tho I am tired today. Take care, enjoy life with your family and come by and post more often if you can. Love MK
