I have to tell you, I'm jealous. I've been trying to talk my hubbie into new chairs for our TV room, and he flat out refuses. It seems they don't make chairs as comfortable as his old ratty one any more. Sigh!

Love and hugs...

Slowly, step by step. The carpet man/construction owner/realtor/remodeler came by with his painting foreman to give me a bid on the painting. Painter looked around and said "there are all different textures on these walls". Sure enough I hadn't really noticed the different types of texture, I just knew it was a lousey job. The guy who built the house was a retired engineer and hired the cheapest possible labor or did it himself a lot. So I said, ok give me a bid on fixing the walls before painting, separate from painting. There is still one naked wall in the living room needing pictures or something, otherwise I quit except for the paint and carpet. I have less and less stamina all the time and I need more help. Amy and I get along fine, but her interest in work is less than mine. She has more aches and pains than I do, too. This week it is sore throat and fever???? Last week it was sore back and knees. Her mother will be here to clean Saturday. I wish she had more of her energy. Oh well. I pay her very little unless she does something special.

Onc took Carolyn off chemo for awhile. She saw orthopedic surgeon about her broken hip and he said he wanted more xrays and to watch it for awhile to see if mets was spreading before taking steps to pin both hips. He told her she was not to lift more than a gallon of milk, but that was two days after she wrestled a new hot water tank into place and installed it. My daughter is so much like her father.

I need to get breakfast into me and get dressed. Hope everyone is doing well, including husbands that have problems.

Hugs MK

I've got many projects on the "decor" agenda, but the work progresses very slowly... still like to do it all myself, being the main reason! LOL

Carolyn... I'm so sorry to hear they're having to give her a break from the chemo. And still wrestling hot water heaters, with a broken hip? She is a tough cookie, isn't she? That kind of determination is a good thing.

Hubby, well things are on an even keel right now. He went to have another sleep study done last week. Woke up at 1:00 a.m., pulled all the stuff off, and told them he was done sleeping and was going home. Needless to say, they didn't get what they needed, so he'll have to go back again. Of course, that is the way he sleeps at home.

Take care, MK. Get plenty of rest, but keep moving as well. Just sitting is no good, either. Don't need to get cellulitis like our friend, miss Becky!

Love and hugs...

Yes Bev, Carolyn is one tough cookie alright. She doesn't tell us much of anything.

I went through the sleep study and found I quit breathing a lot but I just couldn't wear the plastic stuff. The smell bothered me more than the sound or the actual mask. So after trying for several months I took it all back.

I hope Becky is doing fine. It kind of worried me that she seemed to be going back to work so quickly.

You take care, too.

Hugs MK
