Wow, what a hectic day!  I ended up running back home, and sure enough, my heat was already turned down appropriately...but I got peace of mind, plus I saw my roof looked pretty good and I am less worried about snow. I know my dog went out at least once, which is better than not at all.  And I got my first good fix of Mexican food here, then helped my father cover the bushes. The cold here is like a heat wave for me though!
Stef, I tried ad-aware from I loaded it and ran it, but when I ran it to scan, it locked up. Several times. THe IT guru at work thinks the bad script is preventing it from running.  I tried again to download a different version yesterday, and after 15 hours, it still said it was I gave up. It is good to see that you are up and about a little more each day....
Flight was only delayed about 5 minutes, thank goodness. It was better than the gate next to us that was making announcements on trying to locate the crew. With the delays all day, they had no idea where theirs was and had to assemble a new one. And there was a group of people waiting for a bus to Cleveland because of cancelled flights...tough travel day around here! least I am more relaxed now.
Wishing you all a peaceful time...

Glad you made it to the warm state of Texas. LOL It is 13 here on our patio!!! Be glad you are in the Houston area. Hope Jo-Ann is warm in GA. I hate putting Heidi out to potty when it is this cold, she has really bad congestive heart failure. The idiots who live on the other side of us have a Jack Russell and a Collie and last night they left them out for over an hour maybe two. These dogs are used to being in the house and they barked and barked. Finally I called over there and no one answered the phone, I left a message that I was extremely worried about their dogs being out so long in the cold. Still no results, so I called three more times and hung up when I got the answering service. I know they have caller ID so I am assuming they will know how upset I am. The coldest night of the year and they put their dogs out and forget them. Happy Holidays. Chuck is telling me my ducks are waiting to be fed, so I guess I need to bundle up and get out there. LOL. Hugs MK
