Hi, Jocelyn! Hope you will join in some of our discussions. It's nice to have the voice of ladies who have not undergone chemo or radiation to share their experiences. I know MK didn't undergo any, but she is one of the few. And we often have women who come here who are afraid NOT to have chemo or radiation. Congrats on 10 years of survival!

Hugs...

Thank you Bev, I would love to join in on some discussions. Yes 10 years is a milestone isn't it, I have lost a couple of workfriends to breast cancer, I am certainly one of the lucky ones.

Thanks again for your kind words.

Jocelyn

You said it, Jocelyn... it is pure, blind luck, I think. I think this year will be 16 for me. My best friend (who was a co-worker) passed away a few years ago from breast cancer as well. It was a hard loss. Still miss her a bunch!

Hugs...

Hi Bev

I am sorry about your friend, it just seems that everyone has been either affected by this insidious disease or knows someone who has. I got really excited last week when I heard on the news that they had found a cure for breast cancer but it won't be available for 10 years. That is great news for future generations but what about all the ladies between now and then?

Congrats also on reaching 16 years, that is absolutely wonderful.

God bless.

Hi Siohban

Yes I am one of the really lucky ones who didn't have to have chemo or radiation but I did have to undergo a mastectomy. Thanks for your kind thoughts they are really appreciated.

Yes my daughter knew about this but it seems to have slipped her mind of late. Never mind, hopefully God will bring her back to me soon.

Thanks for your kind words.
Kind Regards
