hi Grammy, your prayers are sooo greatly appreciated and they worked.. I don't want to jump the gun, but doctor said it looks about 99.9% that it's b9.. he got all of it out and I'll find out by wednesday where to go from here..
It's such a relief to know it's gone.. that alone has just lightened the heavy load I've been carrying on my shoulders, I almost feel normal again.. my arm and right side is kinda sore, but they gave me some pain medicine and it seems to be helping.. This experience with the surgery I have to say has been my best, at one point tho I sat up and said I cant go through with this
, they were putting something in my IV next thing I know I have a nurse gently shaking me up lettin me its over.. It all hapened so fast, well actually to me anyways.. I got there at 11am and was scheduled for 2pm, but thye were backed up so I actually didn't have the surgery till about 3:30 and was able to go home at 6:00...
I'm so glad to be home and doc said I don't need to come back unless i get an infection, but he said it was an easy op because of how close it was to theskin.. he thinks it'll heal just fine..
Im sorry you have been hit with both crohns and bc, not that it's comforting to know~ but it makes me feel so "not alone" if you ever just need to talk or have questions or need a few laughs I'd be happy to oblige you!
Again thank you for the prayers.. my heart and thoughts go out to you, I'll be continually praying for you and your family too..
There are two days in the week about which and upon which I never worry. Two carefree days, kept sacredly free from fear and apprehension. One of these days is Yesterday... And the other day I do not worry about is Tommorrow.
