Board has been quiet...anyone there tonight?

Like the Eagles or the Pats?  Normally I don't care, but I am in favor of busting up a dynasty...plus Leigh bet $5 in Vegas back in June, on Philly to win the Super Bowl. He gets around $130 if they win...so for the first time in years, I am rooting for a team (usually I could care less).

Busy weekend here, Dad was in town for 2 Michigan hockey games, too bad we tied them both, after blowing a lead at the end of the game.

Go Eagles! yeah

I'm rooting for the Eagles too, just because I think the Pats have won enough lately. ha

Well, this is a sweet and sad time. Half the fun of football was the going back and forth with Peggy with our Eagles Vs. Redskins trash talk. It is not the same without her. I dreamed of this happening when we would send our digs. I really never thought I would get to see the Eagles in the superbowl. That for me was a big plus. The good news is young children in the Philadelphia area have learned to spell. I understand the first word most of them spelled in the last two weeks is EAGLES. The really good news for those of us in the local news area is we do not have to listen to everyone with or without two drinks shout how to spell it at the top of their lungs. I love my Eagles. I have to admit I do not love anything enough to listen to it being spelled a thousand times a day. L&H and congrats to the Pats fans. Joyce
How wonderful it would be to see Angels where there are only clouds. How sad it would be to see clouds where there are Angels.

Joyce, we had a Super Bowl party and 20 of us were pulling for the green (I won't spell the National Bird here just for you) LOL We had one person routing for the Pats. We all were pretty sure that the Pats would win, but still were cheering for that other team in green! It was a good game and those bird men really held their own. I love football and will be at the Pro Bowl next Sunday! YIPPEE

Kinda late but I was definitely for the Eagles. The remarks made by a certain blowhard talk show host last year convinced me that Donovan McNabb needed to be the winning quarterback. Then this last week the idiot had enough nerve to make another comment and that sealed the choice for me. Alas, it didn't come to be, but at least it was a good close game.

Sara I was thinking of you during the game, thinking how next week you will be on the Island and having a wonderful time. Aloha!!
