Perfume and incense bring joy to the heart, and the pleasantness of one's friend springs from his earnest counsel.
Thanks for the great welcome. I was referred to this site by one of your own. Now, let's see, her name is, hmmmmm...JoAnn. Please don't hold this against me!
I was first diagnosed in April, 2001. I had a modified radical mastectomy, 19 of 21 lymph nodes positive. Had 4 a/c. 12 taxol and 36 radiation. Everything was good until Oct, 2003. My cea went from 12 to 29 in 3 mo. Now I have a small spot on my sacrum. I am on weekly herception and navelbein (sp). This was quite a shock but nothing that can't be handled. JoAnn has helped me a great deal this past year.
I live in Missouri. My eldest dd, 3 granddaughters (Emma 10, Grace 4 and Hannah 19 mo) all live together along with Tigger (Shi-tzu), Bailey (Airedale) 2 hermit crabs and, as of last night 4 fish and 2 frogs. Needless to say there is never a dull moment. I am going to be blessed with my first grandson in June. My younger dd and her dh are expecting. We are all extremely awaiting the "little prince's" arrival.
Thanks again for the welcome.
I am sorry to hear about your having to start chemo again. Do you know what kind you will be taking? I have refused to have any steriod premeds because I don't want the weight gain. My oncologist was fine with that and I get a shot (thru IV) for the nausea that is not a steriod. So far, so good.
