As I seem to be my oncs resident "clinical trial" I begin Abraxane this afternoon. . .Little bit of whining there, however, I do realize that I was also his Herceptin "clinical trial" and am still here 5 years later tongue .  Guess I'm cool as I can be about the 4th hair loss . . instead of looking for a wig to match my hair (which doesn't exist - and ought to be a clue to me it's time for a change) this time I picked out a wig and said, "cut my hair like this . . ."  Keith of course wanted to know why in the world I spent money to cut my hair when it would be falling out in 2 weeks . . lol . . I just told him I wouldn't be paying my hair dresser for a year and had to pay her one last time.  Of course all of you who know Keith, know that he is just messing with me and the best DH in the world.
I take the new poison at 3 p.m. so will check in later to let you know how it goes.
Hugs to all!

Good Luck Jackie..I am interested in how it goes. I am mentioning
Abaxane when I see my Onc on March 10th. Glad the hair loss
isnt as upsetting this time. You sound wonderful !!!

Hey Jackie, good luck today. I hope this stuff works great and has you happy and more healthy albeit bald. As I recall your guy was not only very nice but wasn't bad to look at, either. LOL. Hugs, MK

My friend RoseMary was a tamoxifen guinea pig and she is here, I think 22 years later. Wishing you the very best care and wonderful results. I'm so glad that this came out now. Hugs and lots of love, Di

I just read about this recently and posted a link to an article..I will find it and bump it back up.

It is exciting though to have these options, to know that the researchers are working hard! Good luck and please keep us posted...
