It was so great!  The topic was breast cancer. She interviewed a woman scientist that is trying to find a cure.  She also had Lynn Redgrave on and she was talking about the book she has written about her journey thru BC, the name of it is "Journal".  Her daughter documented her on video thru it all.   What a trooper she was, letting her daughter video her in some of the worst situations!  Sure wish I would have taped it for my daughters to see.  It was a really emotional show.  Brought back alot of memories of 20 years ago. I shed a few tears thru it too. )-:

I have to share a quote that was on it .......it is a keeper.  "It is not how long I live this life, but how I live it"

Love to all.

Sorry I missed it. If I know a special is on I have to watch it, and then get upset because I did. I also love that quote. It seems to come in all types of words and everytime I read it, I think its a shame you have to get a life threatening illness to get it. L&H Joyce
How wonderful it would be to see Angels where there are only clouds. How sad it would be to see clouds where there are Angels.

I missed the show, too. You can read the transcript of the show on www.cnn.com. I found it just doing a search for Paula Zahn breast cancer. Frayda

Thanks so much Frayda. Now someone explain why I am having so many blonde moments when L'Oreal is now the source of my ability to stay blonde. I would have thought when my hair got darker I would not have quite so many. Geez L&H Joyce

Darn I missed it, too. However, I have seen Lynn Redgrave and her daughter on another show discussing the Journal and filming. I will check out the site to see about the rest of the program. Joyce, don't ever let anyone convince you blondes are dumb. You aren't. that is for sure. Hugs, MK

Thanks Frayda for letting the ladies know about the website.

I just read on the CNN website that it will be rebroadcast Sat. 4:00 pm ET and Sun. 5:00 pm ET if anyone is interested in watching it.
