Mike says she is sleeping alot these days. Her balance is not good at all. She has fallen a couple of times. Fortunately, she hasn't hurt herself. I hope to talk to her later this afternoon. Again I am feeling useless.

I thank you all for the words of encouragement. I know that Becky doesn''t feel neglected. It's more the idea that there isn't enough in the world that anyone can do that makes this so hard. I try to remind myself that no matter what I am feeling Mike and the kids are going through so much more.

Thanks again for letting me vent. There are very few people who understand why I feel this way.

Love & Hugs,

You are right Angela, I am sure few people understand, but we all sure do. Becky is such a wonderful person and it has to be most difficult to see her going through rough times. If you can think of anything we can do to help, please let us know. Hugs and Prayers for both of you. When you talk to her tell her how much we all love her. MK

You have been wonderful, Angela, anything but useless. I know you must feel that way now, but maybe later there will be more that you can do again. We all feel so bad,sad, and helpless when someone we love so much is hurting. And, most people will never understand what we all have gone through. It is such a blessing to have breast friends. We don't really have to explain how we feel. That certainly isn't true anywhere else. Love to you and Becky, Di

Angela, I know its hard. I am just so glad she has you down there. When you see her please give her a special gentle hug. Thanks so much Joyce
How wonderful it would be to see Angels where there are only clouds. How sad it would be to see clouds where there are Angels.

Angela, I always think that cancer can be harder on the caregivers (and loved ones) than on those with the disease. The loved ones tend to feel helpless and not in control. The person with cancer is fighting actively with chemo, with rads, with other medications, with sleep, etc. Your love and support means the world to Becky and her family, I am sure.

Hugs to you and to Becky-

Angela, we understand the frustration. We've all "been there, done that." Honey, you're a great friend. Please give Becky a gentle hug when you are able to see her.

Hugs to Becky and to you....I pray that she gets some of her strength back...

I love you both,

Sometimes it is a slender thread, Sometimes a strong,
stout rope; She clings to one end, I the other;
She calls it friendship; I call it hope....
