and am feeling much better about all the back stuff...at least I think I am!  She is very assuring that she doesn't believe it is cancer related, and after hearing the litany of "everything that is wrong with my back," I now understand that the pain is NOT from fat in the bone marrow or from hemangiomas, which were the spots they originally considered "possible metastatic disease."  There are apparently numerous abnormalities in the lumbar and sacral spine, cysts, etc...  I refuse to go back to the ortho she refers people to (I have never seen a DR throw a tantrum before or since, but he's not going to do it on MY $200 ever again!), so she is sending me to a neuro specialist...maybe.  Now this is one picky dr!  Her nurse called in the referral, and they said they would call me at home.  The nurse interviewed me for 20 minutes.  Now I have to go collect my bone scans, my x-rays, and my MRI's from the various hospitals and clinics where I had them done, he will review them, then they will call me to tell me if the dr. will see me.  I'm not quite sure i like that plan.  The only reason i'm thinking i'd really like to get an appointment with him is that his name is "Kuntz," and i'd just love to have the opportunity to ask if he'd ever considered going in to gynocology!  Mind you, i said the opportunity...if he turns out to be just the nicest man ever, i wouldn't consider it, of course!

Anyway...how the months have flown.

My granddaughter has moved out, my grandpuppy has (seemingly) moved in, and she requires constant watching since she managed to get herself run over by a car.  We lovingly call her "Thumper" these days...I can't decide if it's because she got "thumped" by a car, or if it's because she "thumps" when she walks due to a very large cast on her front leg that she has learned to use like a club on the other dogs.

We're getting new windows put in the house so we can get ready to sell and move into something smaller and all on one floor for my hubby.

And work...well, it's just been too much like work lately to be a good job, if you know what I mean!

Love and hugs to all my breast friends...

(((Bev))) Hope the anticipated appointment with the new doctor goes well. I am sure you would like to get to the bottom of your back problems. Sorry to hear about grandpuppy's mishap. At least it sounds like he is going to be all right. Take care, friend. Let us know how things go. Hugs, Lauri

LOL I got a chuckle out of your post and the new doctor. Your comments made me think of dear JoAnnie and how she would have laughed at your plan. I knew people by that name and it was pronounced Coontz, if that helps. Anyhow, I hope he is a good doctor and is able to help you. Plans for moving and all the stuff you have going on makes your life very busy. I am concerned about poor little granddog, too. The older I get the more of a patsy I am to animals. However, Jo-Ann is babysitting her grand Anole Lizards while her daughter's family is vacationing. I think I couldn't get too excited about feeding them crickets like she has to do and misting them every so often. Give me a dog any day to hug any day. Hugs MK

OOh, poor puppy! Hope he is ok...
Thanks for checking in with us, I was wondering what is happening there, and will keep my fingers crossed that all is well.

I have a coworker with the same last name...and his first name starts with a D. We had a password for one program that was based on the first 4 letters of our last names and first initial. I got a kick outta that one. He does pronounce it to rhyme with "could" with that vowel sound.

Keep on keeping on...

Sounds like this dr. knows his stuff. If he was not really good no one would go through all that. In the mean time I am hoping he has an attitude just so you can ask. LOL Oh would I love to be a fly on the wall. Love and Hugs Joyce
