Hi All,
I would love some of those feathers to blow into Barnes in St. Louis. I have my yearly PET scan tomorrow at 12:30 and then see the doctor. The only problem I am having is a slight, occasional ache on the right side of my remaining breast. This has only been aching for about 2 weeks on and off but I know I need to tell my surgeon when I am there. I would really hate to have to stay in STL for another 2 months for radiation. Been there and done that twice. Also, I'm worried about my DEX. He's really been having a time with his dad since his mom passed away. I've been trying to help both of them and don't want to leave him alone. Also, my cat has been sick and almost died because the vet thought she was diabetic and she isn't. New vet now! She went into shock and almost a coma when my DEX got here with Syrup to put in her mouth. She also had a heart scan. This new vet found a heart murmur and she is now on medicine. We are screening in the deck for her, and me. I hear coyotees every night now. I have to keep her with me. Also we are putting in a new kitchen counter and sink and painting. Then I need to paint 4 rooms and put in a bedroom floor. Well, enough whining. Point is, I don't want to go to the hospital tomorrow. I feel like Michael Jackson waiting  for the verdict and I know you can all relate.
Love you all so much, Di

PCE is fueling up while we speak. We will all grab our boas and be there for you. Just glad you let us know. L&H Joyce

I'll be on board first thing. We need to swoop down over MS to pick up Cruella, our stewardess. She's also bringing feathers and chocolate. We'll need to check the chocolate carefully. Occasionally, I find her four little teeth prints on some.

Di, where are you living that you hear the coyotes? I don't think I'd be too happy about that. Do you think a screen will be safe? I thought I lived in the middle of God knows nowhere.

And you are certainly in my prayers that this test will be clean.

Love You, Jo-Ann

I'll be on board. Know how all this stuff can be worrisome. Coyotes are a problem here in TX and I shudder every time I hear about them. Take care. See you in St Louis. Hugs MK

Oh, you can come. That's great. And, I can't have the chocolate before the test , but I will wany some as soon as it is over so maybe you could drop me some. I'll go to see Dr. Aft after the test and sometimes they have the PET results and sometimes they don't. Once they said they'd call me at home and they never did. So, I was bad and didn't call them either. That was a bone scan I think.
I sure do thank you for fireing up the plane.
As for the coyotees, I am actually in town, one block from the main street that goes past the university, Jo-Ann. It is considered a rural route and I walk 3 houses down to get my mail. I am on a hill surrounded by woods with 3 creeks in various directions around me. They are so creepy. I think there may be a baby one behind my house. I never let the cat in the yard a minute by herself any more.
That's where I've been also. In the yard on a lease. I've hesitaed to mention it because those that aren't animal lovers think I'm crazy.
I've actually wondered about the safety of the screened in porch. I 've seen too many reports of bears breaking into people's houses lately.
Well, thank you again Joyce, Jo-Ann and MK for coming. Remember that I will certainly be giving you all hugs. I'll be ready for some by Oct. too. Lots of love, Di

Di:

Don't forget me!  I'll be there too.  I hope you get some results.  I've got the same problem with calls back.  The OB-GYN didn't get back to me until today, when I passed that wierd thing on Friday.  He's just hard to reach.  I was very assertive today with the nurse, and he called me right back.  I only got a message, but a detailed one.  He'll talk to me tomorrow, when he's in the office.

If you're going into the city, maybe you could do something for yourself....  Doesn't have to just be a crappy test trip, you could do something.

Just a thought.

I'm there, baby!

Di!   Count me in for tomorrow also. Even though I am only 120 miles from Barnes, I think that I will have them stop and pick me up. That choc sounds to good to pass up. Hey, why don't we all go to the Art Museum afterwards, have a nice lunch and visit. The weather is suppose to be wonderful tomorrow! Or we could go to the zoo but the entails too much walking! lol Or we could go to "The Hill" and eat and have some great wine. You make the choice.
I just went thru the dread and wait of the PET scan. Hate it! Just look for all of the pink feathers and you will be able to relax!

Hugs...Deb
