I just got the pathology reports...they were BOTH fibroadenomas.... so thankful! There was one comment in the path report that  I read after I left.. I have a call back in to the dr, but was wondering if anyone knows what it means...
"contains one small focus of epitelial hyperplasia with mild architectural and cytologic atypia..."
she said all was well, but I was wondering what all that means?
thanks for all the support you have given me!

What fantastic news!!!! CONGRATULATIONS~ yeah I have no idea what that statement in your report means. Why not call your dr and ask so that your mind will be at ease. Hope that you did something great to celebrate this wonderful news!

Great news!!! I'm so happy to hear that!!!!!

The information you're asking about indicates changes to cells within your breast. These are not cancerous, just that they have changes from normal breast cells. Your doc will be able to tell you more, but you will want to be diligent in following up with mammos/us just on the small chance the cells don't correct themselves and go "bad." Right now, though, enjoy your summer and stay worry free!

Thanks so much for posting. I've been thinking about you and I'm thrilled with the news! Come back and visit anytime!
