I have been selected as juror #4, spent most of the day just trying to get the jury chosen.  Luckily it should be over by Wed or Thursday, since I had Friday planned as a vacation day.

I feel your pain, Lori. LOL Los Angeles, with all it's high-profile criminal cases, is no place to serve on jury duty. But I'm up again soon, I think. Yuck! Hope you have a decent case that ends quickly.

There was a piece on Dallas last night telling 3400 prospective jurors were called and only 900 showed up. Pretty sad, I was on only one real jury and it was an open and closed case about an auto accident. Good luck Lori, hope it only lasts as long as they predict. Hugs MK

What an interesting experience, Lori. I have never been called for jury duty even thought I have always been registered to vote (that's the basis for calling jurors in Minnesota). I hope you get something interesting not too grim. Good luck. Hugs, Lauri

The jury system loves me.  I can't tell you how many times I've been on a jury.  I got called again, but it was during my rads treatment, so I've postponed it until Sept.  At least this time, it's a local court.  I usually get called to downtown L. A.

Yes, interesting case. Someone is lying but I don't know who, since neither are credible. Closing arguments tormorrow afternoon and then we deliberate, unless i am booted off, as 2 of us will be alternates. They have 14 hearing the case. Can't say anymore, but luckily work has been light this week so it made it easier to miss.

Lori
