I just had emergency oral surgery.  Surprise!!!!!  I had to do it because I need to recover for a week, and my hyster is a week from today.  My surgeon is away on vacation, so I went ahead and took care of it and hope that he's okay with my just having finished a regimen of Keflex the day before he does the surgery.  My onc said I HAD to take care of any possible abscess or he wouldn't clear me.  I'm in pain, can't work the last days I wanted to, am now $630 in the hole after insurance, and DH couldn't even bring himself to go to the pharmacy for me when I came home from the surgery.  I had to go myself.  OOOHHHHH!!!

For a smart woman, I really bungled the choice in men.  MK, I think I need to slug him bigtime!

Want me to send the slugger then? You just keep on having problem after problem kiddo. I would think finishing with Keflex just before surgery would be an asset rather than a problem. Sorry you had to go to the drugstore. Gees what was he doing, fishing? Men. Rest up and get ready for surgery and try to relax. Next month has to be better once the surgery is over. Love you, MK

No, he was working and had gotten home just before me.  He was listening to my message to go to the pharmacy on the voice mail when I came in the door, swollen and in pain.  I was pretty pitiful, (you'd think).  I asked him to go to the pharmacy for me and he said "no I have s--t to do"

Is that grounds in this state??????

Don't know about grounds in your state, but he sure does need an attitude adjustment, the slugger should do it. LOL. I THINK and I say that emphasized that my husband would go to the pharmacy for me if I were really hurting. He has more sympathy for pain that I have. I don't know what to tell you, but you do need to work on that guy. Don't know what surgery you had done but most needs to have you rest to form a good clot over the tooth space. You didn't need to be out driving around. Hugs MK

Ellen, hope you are feeling better today. What did you have done? I know all about tooth pain recently. Hope you had something strong to take before bed.

I had some procedure that they do after a root canal, filling in the deep roots after cleaning them out.  He did the two teeth that I had had root canals on.  He also took care of the deep infection that was there and also in my sinus, and said that my sinus should feel better, too.  I felt every thing he did, especially when he was cleaning out the infection.  It's a very wierd experience, root canal.  He put disolving stitches in so I don't have to go back right away.

The pain medicine really wasn't strong enough last night.  I was up every three hours, hurting, and it was hard to fall asleep from the pain.  I'm on vicoprophren.  Between this and the codeine for the pelvic pain, I may have to detox after this is all done.  At the very least, I'll be doubly cranky.

I have a nice day to myself.  Matthew's off to camp and I'm puttering.  I'll watch a movie this afternoon, eat something comfortable and just vedge.  I told DH how I felt, let him think on that.  He may come through yet.

Gee, Ellen, sometimes things just mount up and up. I'm so sorry to hear about this latest trial you've had. Is it possible that DH is struggling as much as you are with all these negative things happening to you?? Just a thought. In the meantime take care of yourself over the next week. I'm hoping once the hysterectomy is over that your life will calm down a lot. Thinking of you. Luci

Yikes, girl! You're sure having a rough time of it this year. Yes, it sounds like DH needs an intimate visit with the Louisville Slugger. LOL Let me know how it works. I have this son. . .

Rita
