I saw my PCP on Tuesday who did a liver panel because I take lipitor and another glucose panel because of the diabetes craziness earlier in the Spring. She says the whole thing was handled poorly. Well, duh.... She was so sweet when she came into the room. She hugged me and said: "I was so excited when I saw your name on my patient list this morning." That made me feel really good. It's nice to have a dr. who actually knows who you are when they see your name.
Then I went to the urologist. He did his internal thing and told me that I have a urinary tract infection. How weird is that??? I was totally asymptomatic. He gave me a prescription and told me to start taking it immediately. Otherwise, everything is fine. Keep taking the meds. he first prescribed back in February. I don't have to see him for a whole year. Yippee!!
DH had the appt. before mine with the urologist - they keep checking his pesky prostate problem. Sometimes my friends, I feel like I have 3 children instead of 2. Explain to me, please, how a bright man who ran his own company for many years could possibly be so dumb. Listen to this. The last time he saw the urologist was in March of this year. At that time the dr. prescribed add'l medication that he thought would help shrink the prostate. The dr. gave him a month's worth of samples and a new prescription to fill. DH, genius that he is, used all of the samples as instructed. Then decided on his own that the new meds weren't working and decided NOT to fill the scrip. Dumb, dumb and dumber. I am so mad at him, I could just spit. Of course, the dr. wasn't too thrilled with him either yesterday. So now he has to start all over. I don't know what to do with this man.
That's all from here. L&H's, Luci
