finally willing to admit that I'm exhausted.  The wedding was so beautiful, so filled with emotion.  I could barely talk about it.  The kids returned from Bermuda yesterday and today it's back to work.

The rest of our cross-country and back adventure was terrific, except I could have done w/out the traffic in Chicago.  We spent yesterday, last night and part of today in Bryce Canyon National Park.  We stayed in a cabin at Bryce Lodge and to be honest I could have stayed there for a few more days.  The peace of the place is very soothing.  This morning when I opened the door of our cabin to walk out on to the porch there was a deer right there at the foot of the steps.  What a sight. I just stood there mesmerized.  I looked at it and it looked back with those great big, dark deer eyes.  Incredible.

In 2 days on the 14th it will be seven yrs. for me since DX.  Pretty wonderful to still be here able to post and enjoy all of you.  Whether your news is good or maybe not so positive I love reading about you all. Other than read my email while on thie trip, HW was the only place I checked out every evening, except for last night, of course.  More later, Luci

Yeah, Luci, the one site I check out when away is this one.  Isn't that wonderful?  This one's family.

I'm so glad you had that experience with the doe.  I never get tired of it.  I wake up at 5:30 sometimes just to see the family that lives across the street, behind Diane's house.  They have two fawns this year.

Enjoy yourself, and rest up.

So glad you are home, Luci!! There is nothing quite as nice as being back in your own bed at night. I agree with you about the traffic in Chicago. Mother and I took the Badger ferry across Lake Michigan. It was so much fun and so relaxing. I got chills as you described the deer in Bryce Canyon. What an experience that was! I will wish you an early congratulations on the seven year anniversary. That is just wonderful! We have shared so much over the years with one another. What a special bond we have. I can't imagine my life without my Healingwell friends in it. Put your feet up for a bit and relax. Then do something special for that anniversary. I think it calls for chocolate for sure. Hugs, Lauri

Glad you are back safe and sound.  I know I was very glad to be home in my own bed, too.  It sounds like you had a wonderful time.  It's amazing how quickly those vacations go by and before you know it, you are back in the ole rat race again.  LOL  Congrats on your anniversary.  I can only imagine how you feel.  I'm looking forward to that feeling in the future.
