Tammy, I have no suggestions, I was lucky to escape mouth sores with chemo, but I am sure others will help with their experiences. Just want to offer you a big ol' hug for hanging in there!!

Hey, I had that once. I used, per my a booklet, 1/2 baking soda, 1/2 salt, gargle 4 x a day after each meal and at bedtime. It worked.

Tammy, I have used the magic mouthwash (lidocine, benedryl and something else, I forgot) after treatments and it helped. I know these are painful. Let us know what the doc says.

I had someone tell me that baking soda toothpaste worked, and since i used it already, i didn't have to do anything new... but i never had a mouth sore!  so i would try that...good luck....hope it helps!
