I just had my 1st of 7 boosts today, so I am almost done.  Fortunately, I have not experienced any skin trouble or fatigue.  It's hard to believe that it's almost over.  August will be 1 year since I discovered the mass.  What a year!  I am so grateful now to be cancer free and having a 2nd lease on life!  Now, I just need to make it count!

Soon you will be able to lead a more normal life. I am glad the rads did not give you any problems. As I recall you did chemo rather well, too. I am sure it seems like a long year to you and you are glad to have it all behind you. Don't forget us here as you gear into normalcy, we need help encouring newbies and you have a great attitude which really helps. Hugs MK

MK,

Of course I won't forget you all here!  I will remain connected no matter what.  This is not something you forget about.  I am doing some soul searching about my career future and would like it to be related to cancer treatment in some way.  I'm looking into radiation therapy, as a matter of fact.  It requires a lot of schooling, so I'm just not sure what to do.  Unfortunately, my husband only has a so-so paying job right now and it would be hard for me to quit work to go to school full time.  Wish me luck in this decision!!!

Woohoo, Kathy. I remember when I sent that first card and now here you are almost finished tx. I'm so happy for you.

You know, of course, that now you're truly one of us. We'll always be thinking of you. L&H's, Luci
