Dear Michelle,
Saw your post...Lori says you and I might be neighbors.  I'm over in Ann Arbor. I emailed you...hope you got it. How's treatment going for you? Where do you go for treatment? I'm at U of M...any chance you're going there too?
I really hope today finds you having a good day.  Look forward to hearing from you!
hugs,
Tracy :-)

We also have Michele (Mikki) who is about 30 minutes from the U, out towards my way. JenPossible lives in the area too. Skky is out in your neck of the woods (I think).

Tracy, I remember years ago that you said you saw Dr. M at the U. I went there too for genetic testing with her and Kara. Is Gini your nurse? I see Gini and Dr. Wicha there, next appointment is in August some time for mammo and annual check with the onc. Maybe we could meet up there next time?

Enjoy the sunshine today girls!

Hey Lori,

I didn't realize there were so many "Michiganders" here!  I do still see Dr. Merajver and Gini is her nurse. So I see her and I also know Kara very well.  I had the genetic testing 7 years ago or so, before I was even diagnosed.  (my mom died young of breast and ovarian cancer.) So I've been seeing them a long time.  If you see them before I do, please tell Kara and Gini I said "hello"! I need to call them this week though, because I'm overdue for my lupron injection. Let me know when your appointment is. It would be nice to meet!

hugs,

Tracy :-)

I have already had the pleasure of emailing traci. We have found out we are actually fairly close neighbors.Funny, we all go to U of M-but none of us have the same onc.Thank you Lori for putting us in touch with each other-I can already tell Traci is a great person.Hope all of you Michigan girls are enjoying this heat and humidity.

I have my next onc appointment on 8/9, if my work schedule is still open, since I never wrote it down....I will let you know and maybe we can all meet up...or better yet, we can all try to coordinate our next visits together and storm reception area B! I am always seen on Tuesdays, what about you 2?

Dr. M's clinic is on Mondays, so I'm always on Mondays...but I'm still off treatment for the time being, utill I start back up again maybe this fall. I just made an appointment yesterday to see her Sept 12. We'll see how I'm doing and what she says she'd like for me to do. I'll be there for a head CT scan on 8/15.

Got your emails michelle and Lori...sorry I haven't written back yet. I'll try as soon as I get the chance.
hugs,
Tracy

Right now I'am seeing Dr. Blayney on Thursdays. My last taxol will be Aug 4, and Then I will start doing my herceptin on Tuesdays.I want to wish both of you well on your next visits. Lori that your check ups are further apart-and Traci well maybe you will get an even longer chemo break.I would love to meet with the two of you. Let me know what you decide.
