What a story this guy is....beating stage IV cancer to come back and win the Tour de France 7 years in a row....and he is still cancer free. He is a hero to all and a tremendous inspiration to those battling cancer or survivorship.

Glad to have him on our team!

Lori- I don't know that much about his cancer details, but HOW can he come back from a Stage IV to be cancer-free? I think I read that it had spread to his bone and brain? I am confused, I think I need to get a book and read up on it... just wondering if you knew more details. He is one amazing man.

I think he had a lot of chemo, Stef. That;s about as much as I know too. I think he is just amazing. What a role model for young people. Hugs, Lauri

I read his book and loved it. I am not sure either how that can happen, yes, he did have mets to brain and I think lung. Maybe he is just a modern miracle to remain cancer free for so long. Maybe they shrunk it into remission and his immune system is just working overtime? Not really sure, but I'll add him to my hero list!
