I just read it online...Christopher Reeve's widow has lung cancer and was a non-smoker.  Details are not reported at this time, but what a darn shame. How much can a family take?  Sorry to hear of this news....

I heard about Dana Reeve too on CNN yesterday, Lori. You are so right, what a shame. And, to a non-smoker to boot. Just not right. Hope she responds to treatment and has many years ahead of her. Sadly, Lauri

This certainly isn't good news. I feel so bad for the kids. To see their dad suffer through his paralysis, and now Dana. That's truly a lot for any family to bear. Sending mega prayers their way.

Cancer is nasty, nasty, nasty, no matter what form. I feel so badly for Dana and the family. I hope it was caught early enough to be put in remission. MK

A coworker of mine had lung cancer found very early a couple years ago, found on a routine chest xray. SHe had surgery and no further treatment and seems to be healthy as a horse, no further signs of cancer. It is nice to know that there are some success stories for lung cancer too...

NO WAY!  God, that poor woman, I can't believe what she has been thru. It's just not fair.  When I hear about people who have been slammed by tragedy over and over, it makes me so sad I could just cry.  I'm getting a lump in my throat just thinking about it.  I have to believe that she will get the same outpouring of love and support that Christopher and his family recieved from all over the world.  Wish there was some way I could send well-wishes her way...anyone know how to contact someone famous like that? It sure would be nice to let her know that people she doesn't even know are rooting for her and praying for her recovery.
