Whew! The nicest young doctor came into the room and immediately told me I was not in any crisis situation.  He said there were some indications that I could have kidney disease in the very beginning stages, but there was not really any reasons for concern.  We discussed the increase in blood sugar numbers and blood pressure numbers and I told him about them decreasing since I got the Brand only Lotensin back and quit taking the generic Rx.  He thought it would be good to increase the Lotensin meds to be sure to keep the BP down, but that was it.  Come back next year just so he could check and make sure all was still going well.  I told him I expected to have to have dye injected tests and be told low protein diet, but he said no.  Protein is good and I am far from needing to have tests other than blood or urinalysis.  So all in all it was a good day and I know I owe you all a big thank you for coming along and helping me out with prayers.  Big hugs of thanks,  MK

MK and I are going to celebrate. I'm taking her out to dinner Friday night. That's the only time I can get Chinese food.

I have been so concerned for you, dear MK, but I've been smiling since you called. Those pork chop bones show up in the dâmndest places. Thank God.

Love, the eldest, Jo-Ann

Congrats!!! but I have one small little question...What the heck is a PORK CHOP BONE???!?

(and why do you put a "D" before the short form for daughter - DD, and husband - DH??)

D Stands for Dear or Dam* whichever suits at the time. LOL. The pork chop bone is a joke or story told by a very funny lady and the outcome was that rather than a lump the xray showed a pork chop bone lodged in a very strange place. So when we are really concerned about something and it turns out to be nothing we say pork chop bone. Every now and then someone with a good memory tells the whole story. Hugs MK
