Online study announcement (Asian American) ($50)

Eun-Ok Im, PhD, MPH, RN, CNS, FAAN and her colleagues at the University of Pennsylvania are conducting a research study to test the effectiveness of an online support group for Asian American women living with breast cancer.
You may be eligible to participate in this research study if you are a Asian American woman aged 21 years and older who have had a breast cancer diagnosis in the past 5 years; can read and write English, Mandarin Chinese, Korean or Japanese; have access to the Internet; and identify their sub-ethnicity as Chinese, Korean, or Japanese.
The project period will be from Oct. 1st , 2014 to Jun. 30th, 2015 and data will be collected through the Internet. Methods for data collection include Internet surveys of 60 Asian American women living with breast cancer at three times. Depending on the group that you are randomly assigned, you may or may not be asked to use the online support group, but both groups will be asked to use the online resources that are provided by the research team. Please note that your participation is voluntary and your can withdraw your participation at any time.
