MK: Thanks for the concern. I really wasn't all that worried but started to feel a little anxious last night. It is just that when two women professionals look like they want to hold your hand and give you some bad news, it is a little disconcerting, but I have had a cold that has been annoying and I have concentrated on that.
Well, my DH and I went to the doctor this morning. He explained that the mammo showed increased calcification in the left breast that is starting to cluster. His opinion is that it is a result of reduction surgery, but I have had other mammos since that time that did not show the cluster, so to be on the aggressive -safe side his office scheduled a Stereotactic Breast Biopsy for Thursday morning. I have to be at the site at 8:15 am for 9:15 test time.
Dr. T always states that this is what he would do if it was his wife. My DH was all ready to jump into the biopsy puddle, but I was stupidly hesitating. It was so good of them to allow me to express my opinion on wait and see in this situation. Pork chop bones are on the menu. So, that is all I know for now. It will take 3-4 days to get results. Thanks Deb and MK for your concern. The test will take about
45 min to and hr. It will be nice to see some of you in the pink garb.
Love and hugs,
