I had 1st treament on 9/15. I was a little tired and kind of woosy feeling over the weekend, but never really felt sick. My mouth is so dry and I want to keep eating just to have a different taste in my mouth, which is not good because I don't need to gain any weight. I haven't really felt like vomiting, but when that little lump came up in my throat a couple of times, I just took a pill. I've had heartburn a couple of times. The warehouse manager has the flu or bad cold, so now I'm scared I'll get sick from him. I had been suffering with tennis elbow (not from playing tennis) for the last 3-4 months and that has just disappeared over the weekend. Maybe a reverse reaction to the Neulasta shot or the chemo drugs. I got the drugs thru the same arm the tennis elbow was in. I mean I feel no pain at all in. I was having problems picking things up certain ways because it was hurting so bad. Anyway, I guess for the most part, I'm doing ok so far. I just had a piece of chocolate cake, yummy!! :-)

I fixed the duplication. You can delete a duplication yourself by using the X above right hand corner.

You sound like you did well after chemo. Please be careful about being around anyone with a cold, flu or anything else that could could transmitted to you with your compromised immune system. Many have had an easier time with chemo than they expected. My daughter did very well. I hope you continue to do well. Indulge in chocolate cake when you feel the need. You deserve it. LOL.

Hugs MK

Well, I have not been feeling to well for the last 3 days. sad My stomach is hurting so bad, I think I got constipated again, so I have been taking laxatives (1 each day) I stayed home today because I felt kind of flu-ish this morning. I took a hot bath then started to feel a teensy bit better than ate a hamburger for lunch and I think that did me in. I have been in pain all day with my stomach and I can only think that I am full of crap. Since the weekend I have been just eating anything because I can't stand this this dry yucky feeling in my mouth and food just seems to make it feel a little better. I talked to a nurse today about the flu like symptoms and she said I may be coming down with a bug and to come in tomorrow at noon to check my blood. I'm supposed to gon on Monday. My throat has been kind of sore. I spoke to someone at work today and  guy that has been out for 2 days came in today and he is real sick, I thought, great. I have this weird pain in my throat. I will see how I feel lin the morning.

Kathy

Im sorry you are not feeling good. I have alot of trouble with constipation too and sometimes it gets really bad. The flu like feeling might be from your shot too. I get achy after that one, in fact I had neulasta again and Im very achy now. For the dry mouth you might want to get some hard candy to suck on it helps and it will keep you from eating too much. The sore throat can be from the dry mouth. I get a sore throat when I get moth sores. I hope your Dr appointment goes well tomarrow.
Hugs:)

I'm still feeling a little ill this morning, but much better than yesterday. I thought my stomach was going to explode yesterday. The nurse told me  that I may feel flu like the day after the shot (which I didn't) maybe I'm having a delayed reaction?? I'm hoping I will feel better by the time I go to the doc today and can go to work from there.
