I had a whole CBC work up done recently in preparation for the Nov. onc. visit.  I picked up the results today, even though they were faxed to the onc. last Friday.
Good news: CA 27-29 was 27 and everything else was in the right range.  Even that pesky glucose -fasting was only 93, exactly where my PCP said she likes it to be.  Remember all that silliness in the Spring from my gyn. telling me that I had diabetes?
I think that drs. need to stick to their specialties - no crossing over into someone else's territory and making their patients more anxious than they are already.  That would be like an English teacher trying to teach the AP Chemistry class in high school.  Yikes, it makes me shudder.
Take care all. L&H's from here.  Luci

So glad to hear all was great on your CBC. I go to my PC tomorrow to get results of my glucose and lipid panel tomorrow. Three months ago was when it showed high and she was concerned about my kidneys. I think the results will be much better tomorrow. And I think the high numbers were because of a change in medication, not necessarily a change in my diet habits or carbs increase. Hugs and love back, MK

Miss Luci, I am happy to hear that all is well!!! I miss you my friend, and Joy never did get the picture of you and I e-mail to me =( I hope you are loving it in Henderson. I thought is was a very nice place...I could live there, but the whole family of course would have to go and that is probably not going to happen with jobs and all, LOL!
You take care!
