Well, I got my annual flu shot during my chemo today. And for the first time in 5 years, I felt like crap - during and after chemo. I finally had enough sense to take an Ibuprofin 800 and after about an hr felt normal (whatever the heck that is) again.

Everyone, please make sure that you get the shot. Your onco should have one for you. Also, ask for tylenol when they give it to you or take one as soon as you get home.

Hugs...Deb

Deb

I had chemo yesterday and they didnt offer it, I better remind them next time. I thought you were done with chemo? How many more do you have? I just finished my AC and ow I will have 8 Taxol. Im glad the Ac is over although I was lucky with little or no nausea. I have heard the Taxol is easier. Thanks for the info.
Hugs:)

Got mine today and did what you said and took a Tylenol when I got home. Ac1 was much, much better this time, altho one monthof the three was still on BP old medicine and changes. MY BP is still a little high, so we are going to try an additional medication called Benicar. She gave me a month's worth of samples to see how they work out. Anyone taking this Rx? Also she told me to only test my blood sugar once a day now, so that sounds good, right? Hugs MK
