Still got those fingers and toes crossed? The inspection on my house was today, I was on pins and needles all day. Good news is nothing seems to be a deal killer, thank goodness! Bad news is that the inspector said my heat exchange may be cracked. I have someone coming out on Monday to clean and inspect it, and hopefully give it a clean bill of health. If it is cracked, the buyer wants $2 grand at closing for a new furnace. My agent reminded her that a heat exchange can be replaced or repaired sometimes. If there is a problem, it has to be fixed. No doubt about it. I was so worried they would find other things that would be more subjective, and was releived to feel there was more good news than bad. I think there is more good news than bad, anyway.
The next month will be a total whirlwind, as we close next Friday on the new place, and I have to pack up this house...hopefully move by 12/2, but with the holiday this month and work deadlines that are not negotiable, I am not sure I can take much time off till December to pack up.
Keep those positive vibes coming that all works out with the closing of this house!
