My onc has changed my med to arimidex.  He said that there were several choices, different ways of going regarding stopping tamoxifen and when to start arimidex.  He said if he kept me on tamoxifen and G*D, G*D, G*D, forbid I should have a recurrance, he would look back and think he should have changed me when he could do it.  That was good enough for me.
He said possible swelling of fingers and toes and slight liver side effects and osteoperosis are side effects.
Lungs show same nodules.  I'm asthmatic, it seems.  I'll call my PCP tomorrow.

Ellen, sounds like a plan.   Let us know what the PCP says about the nodes.  At least they are stable.

Hey Ellen,

I think you'll do well on Arimidex. I haven't had too many side effects from that - maybe some minor joint pains on occassion, but nothing unbearable. I'm glad you have a plan! Take your calcium on this, though!

I posted before reading all your posts. Sounds like a good plan. Take care, Hugs, MK
