HI LADIES, before i leave this forum, I just want everyone in here to know that even though i am happy about my good biopsy report, I am feeling blue about all the millions of ladies who do not get the same results and I just can[t shake off the feeling - i even lost my younger sister to cancer -- another reminder of sadness.  But, maybe God doesn't want me to feel sad or guilty or whatever it is i am feeling ----  But ---- i just want you to know that i am feeling sadness and well as gladness.  I am human and I care about all of you.  With all my deepest love and support and prayers and all best wishes for a very HAPPY THANKSGIVING .  THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR CARE AND CONCERN WHILE I WAS IN THIS ROOM.  AmazingGraceIM ---

You probably have emotions such as survivor's guilt after an accident would be my guess. But you should not feel guilty at all, you know it is a decision that neither you or anyone else can make about their own lives whether you survive or not. Bless you for your love and kind thoughts. Come and see us any time. Hugs MK

Grace

Please dont feel guilty there is no reason for you to feel bad that you had a good report. All of us cry along with bad reports and rejoice with the good ones so we are rejoicing for you. You dont have to leave us you can come in and post once in awhile if you would like to. Happy thanksgiving to you and yours.
Hugs:)

Yes, Grace, don't feel guilty.  We, of all people, are the happiest for you that you don't have to go through what we have gone through.  Just remain healthy and always be your own advocate when it comes to your health.  Take care.

Kathy

I feel guilty too sometimes because, God Willing, I'm done with cancer.  I can only hope about that.  I'm really neurotic sometimes, so I can catch a guilt trip about many things, but survivors guilt is a very real thing.  Please know we happy dance genuinely for good reports. yeah yeah yeah yeah

I'm very happy for your blessing

Hello Grace! Happy Thanksgiving. You and your family have a lot to be thankful for today. :) What you are feeling is totally normal so don't be afraid. Each of us has had the same feelings. I remember when I finished my first round of chemo and was feeling so excited that I was finished w/ treatments, dr. visits, tests, etc. Then my best friend was diagnosed w/ lung cancer. I felt so guilty because I was happy and she was just beginning her journey. I was able to finally realize that each of us has a right to feel happy about own life and we can use that to help others. The most important thing for you now is to continue to be an advocate for your own health. You can also use your personal experience to share w/ other young women to tell them how important it is to do sbe as well as get their mammos. God has a purpose for you my friend. Keep your mind and heart open. Embrace each day as a wonderful gift. And please feel free to come and post and let us know what is happening in your life. Trust us when we say that there is nothing that makes us happier than to be able to share the good news of a benign biopsy w/ one of our members.

Hugs....Deb

wow - i really enjoyed these emails. I did have a very good and happy thanksgiving with my family and grandchildren and yes, I am relieved of the cancer worry. As the days go by now, I am feeling less emotional but never, never never will i forget to keep you great women out of my daily prayers and thoughts. I thank you once again. God Bless all of you individually and sincerely from the bottom of my heart. AmazingGraceIM

Hello Grace,
I'm very, very happy for your good news. Also, I totally understand how you are feeling about others. Sometimes I don't post when I would like to because of it. This has really brought me to tears. I have read the others posts and know they are right. We do have a purpose, and in my case, I think I've had many lessons to learn that I hadn't learned yet. It's hard to be completely happy when the people you love so much aren't.
Hugs to you, Grace. Cancer sucks. I guess that sums it up. I am very grateful to God for every day and I try hard to do what I can to complete that purpose whatever it is. Love, DiVanDyke
