Hi ladies-
I will be dismantling the computer tomorrow so thought I'd post tonight...

Tomorrow is November 30th, my 6 year anniversary since diagnosis. SIX, count 'em, s-i-x. Whod'a thunk it? Not me, that's for sure.....so many changes during this time, that I do like to take a moment to contemplate and reflect...sisters we have lost and sisters we have gained...changes in the world, and in my own life.  I try to look at November 30 as a new beginning for me, a new lease on life. Had I not found my lump, I would likely be gone by now. It really was the first day of the rest of my life...(I even donated my wig on Tuesday...I held on to it for superstitious reasons...)

Ironically, November 30 will be my last night in my own house...on my own. The movers are coming on Thursday to pack up my furniture and the last boxes, carry me across town to start my new chapter in life with my fiance, in our new house to start our new chapter.

I will get my computer set up as soon as I can, but until then....thanks once again for walking on this incredible journey with me...
Love & Hugs-
Lori

Lori, how special for you.  I'm so glad you shared that with us.  I am thinking of you.  Our sisters are very important to me too.  Good luck with the move and get back on us soon!

Dear Lori...such true words. I refer to my life in two parts: BC (before cancer) and AD (after diagnosis), because it really was a complete life-altering experience. I remember one of JoAnnie's favorite quotes was: That which does not kill us makes us strong. Usually, it just kills us."

Keep living life to the fullest. Enjoy every minute of this new chapter in your life!

Love and hugs...

Congrats Lori! I dont know too much about you, yet you are an inspiration to me. Wishing you all the best - a break-free move, a rain-free day, and a queen size bed!! (it's hard to get used to sleeping with someone when you've been on your own for a while!)
Here's to many more anniversaries

Lori

Are you all moved in yet and have every box unpacked????? LOL That would be a major task to do all of that. I hope all is well and the combo furniture works well. Take time to rest too.
Hugs:)
