Thanks Annette.  I am feeling less nervous about it today.  Who knows how I'll feel tomorrow, but I have all the confidence in my surgeons.  I say my onc today and things are still great.  CA 15-3 is 29 and steady.  I will go back in a month to check if I'm really in menopause and, if so, possibly change to aromatase inhibitor instead of tamoxifen.

Going to the castle, huh?  That's what they call going in for a hysterectomy on the hystersisters.com website.  They say you're going to the castle to become a princess, which is what you should be treated like when you return from the castle.  Maybe you would find it useful to stop by the site for some tips.  I found it helpful for a couple of things like stuff to and not to bring to the hospital, etc...

I hope you fare well.  Be good to yourself when you get back.  I'm praying for minimal pain and adequate treatment the pain.

take care,

Ellen
