I wanted to wish you a very Happy Birthday. Hope you get a piece of decadent chocolate cake and celebrate in the time honored tradition of the sisterhood. You know the rule where you are allowed to eat all the chocolate you want for your Birthday.  Happy Birthday and many, many more happy, healthy years. Love and Hugs Joyce

Happy, Happy Birthday Sis.  The singing will come later... hold your ears.  While you're enjoying that decadent chocolate cake of Joyce's don't forget to have some ice cream for me.  Thank you for coming into my life.

Love you, Libby

Ahhh, I wish each of you ladies could know how much you have warmed my heart.  As I read each post, I could see your face and remember the hugs we've shared.  It's been too long since Louisville, gals.  I sure could use some more in-person hugs!
Now my workday was a challenge yesterday.  I'm a secretary in a high school (the "security officer" for the software program that handles our records - demographics, attendance, discipline grades, whatever!).  Yesterday was Grade Day!  There's always at least one teacher who can't seem to get her grades done on time.  They just don't know that I have a good friend on this board who has offered to come adjust some attitudes!  Right, Joyce?  LOL
After battling grades at school, I came home to find that George had left me a beautiful bouquet of pink flowers.  He'd told the florist it was a breast cancer arrangement.  How's that for your brother, Bev?  Our loved ones share this battle with us.
Then our daughter told me she wanted to take me out to dinner for our birthday.  A new Applebee's has just opened in our little town, so we went there.  What a pure pleasure to sit and enjoy the company of my dear daughter -- as well as the brownie and ice cream we shared for dessert!  Hey, it was chocolate!
I know I don't post as much as I used to.  My life is now in its "new normal," and I'm afraid that would be boring to most of you.  I treasure each of my breast friends and the time we share.
Today (the day after my birthday) I'm remembering one breast friend in particular, our dear Peggy Anne.  She was the first breast friend I met in person and such a good friend to everyone.  It's been two years since I've heard her voice or seen her smile, but she lives on in my heart as well as in many of yours.
This board -- by which I actually mean each breast friend -- is such a blessing in my life.  My dear old friends, you make me happy knowing you and knowing that you are here to share my rambling thoughts.  Our new friends, I'm so sorry you had to join us.  I may not know you as well, but we know you because we've been through where you are today.
So, thank you for the good wishes and for sharing chocolate with me!  We'll start being good again on Monday!  lol
I love you!

Oh good I have some time. I was afraid I missed out on the cake and ice cream. Happy birthday Becky and have many many more.

Oh Beck,

I am so sorry that I missed this post on your big day. It sounds like you had a wonderful birthday, sharing it with those you love. Just the best way to celebrate!!!!!!

I am sending you a great big belated birthday (((((((((((HUG)))))))))).

Isn't it nice to be able to put faces with those posts we read? I guess I am in the mood too for some good in person hugs.

Love you dear friend,

Beck: Like the other Debbie, I also was late posting.
I am so glad that you had a wonderful birthday. How wonderful of your dh to send such a beautiful and meaningful bouquet. What a great guy! Sounds as though your dd is pretty special also. Hope that you had a wonderful day and got lots of great gifts.
I believe the part that I enjoyed reading the most in your post was the comment "My life is now in its "new normal" and I'm afraid that would be boring to most of you." I don't think that there is anything more wonderful than hearing those words!
Happy Birthday again. Hope to be able to meet you soon.

More belated birthday wishes. I've been busy with birthday party for my mother. She was 80 on the 26th. We had big party for her on Saturday. I think we had 40 to 50 people show up. Mother was a bit overwhelmed. Best wishes for you for another good year. May you get to celebrate 80, too.  Hugs, Lauri
