Tammy,

I am so sorry for all your troubles.  It is very normal to feel defeated.  But... you have been through so much and have been very strong.  Stay strong!!  Grieve now so that you can build yourself up in time for the surgery.  You will heal and feel better.  Breast Cancer takes so much from us, do not let it take your spirit.  I will have you in my prayers and please let us know how you are doing.  Do not stop writing us.  We will always listen and try to help.

Love and hugs,

Candy

Vent away, Tammy. Certainly no one will blame you and we will agree that life doesn't always seem to be fair. Breast cancer has made it's mark on all of us in one way or another. All any of us can do is fight what we need to fight and deal with what we need to deal with and in the end depend on each other for support. The news about Shelley is very difficult for many of us who have shared posts with her for several years. She has not been around since you have been a member of the board, but I am here to tell you she was a real fighter. She had her venting days, too. We all do. So hang in there, take care of yourself and get strong for the next surgery, we are here to help. Hugs MK

Tammy: I am so sorry that you are facing another surgery. You have been thru so much in such a short time. You have every right to feel overwhelmed and angry. I am angry that you are having to deal with all of this. Hopefully, this will be the last surgery you will need to have for a long, long time. At least you are putting the odds in your favor for reducing the chance of a recurrance. Don't let this take away your fighting spirit. BC can take lots away from us but it can't take away our fight! Please come here and let us help you. I know that I found going thru treatments for 26 months much easier knowing that I could always post and there would be others that understood why I was so darn mad or depressed. Remember, you have lots of "sisters".

Hugs and prayers...Deb

Tammy,

Stay strong!  You can do it.  I just went through breast reconstruction surgery (it will be 4 weeks tomorrow) and this has been the hardest of all the surgeries.  Having lived for 44 years without so much as a stitch or broken bone, it's hard to believe I've been through 4 surgeries, with more to come.  Keep focused on the end result!  Before you know it, you will have all of this behind you and you can focus on staying healthy!

We're all here for you!
L & H,
Kathy

Tammy

Vent anytime you like. I fully understand and know how overwhelming this can be. It just seems like we are done with one part and go onto another. It will be over soon so keep going you need to be there for your kids and that wonderful new grandaughter you have.
