I want to thank everyone who joined me, for helping to send Shells a beautiful flower arrangement. Thanks again so very much. I have heard they were just beautiful. I understand the florist did a great job. Thank you, thank you, thank you.  Love and hugs,  Joyce

Sorry, I have been so busy here, I was not able to send in any money. I still would like to pariticipate...do we have a central donation place, or should i just send something to Komen in her memory?

Thanks,
Lori

Lori, I had ordered flowers, and a few of the ladies were so kind to ask if they could send a donation for the flowers. I did not know if we were still doing that, so I had ordered flowers myself. I increased the order and then we got more so I ordered extra fushia callas. I asked MK if she would mind collecting for me. I asked her for the amount that I increased the order and the rest went to Peter. So the flowers are covered. I ended up with four charges and three credits before that order was finished. I know the florist heard my voice and thought what now. Thanks so much for thinking of her. I have so many pictures she sent of her and the baby and I had put them on my slide show so I see them everyday. Its still so hard to believe. Love and Hugs, Joyce

I guess what I was wondering, knowing that the flowers are done, was if collections were still coming in....did we have a donation to this site or another one that we are making on Shelley's behalf, or do you need more to cover the cost of the flowers? I know in times past, we ended up with a nice sum after flowers and made a group contribution, as late gifts rolled in,,.....

That is so very nice of you both. MK is handling the money. I have a rural mail box and I was not happy with the idea of those checks sitting out there. Mk very kindly said she would collect and give the extra to Peter to support this site. A donation to S. Komen would also be great. Thanks so much, Joyce

I'm sure Healingwell or Komen Foundation would be happy with your donation. Joyce told me the amount she wanted to pay for the flowers which she posted about above. The rest I sent to Healingwell, so there is no need to buy a stamp and send me a check. Donate where you would like to in her memory. Hugs MK

Thanks for letting me know that we could make a donation in her name to another group. I made a donation today to our Community Breast Cancer House that we are hoping to open Mother's Day weekend. Hope that this is ok.

Hugs..Deb
