I like it a lot. Good strong sounding name. DD liked Luke. Michael was SIL's choice. Baby is doing fine, albeit a bit awkward at nursing yet. But, he will learn. Mom and baby should be coming home tomorrow. Other set of grandparents are here from Minnesota. They arrived this afternoon. Fortunately, they left between the two big snow storms of the season. Hope the snow is all gone before we get home. Lauri

I hope that your new little Luke will inherit the strength that comes with the name of this apostle. How wonderful it is to have grandchildren, especially before they talk back.

I'm waiting for pictures of Grandma and Luke.

Love You, Jo-Ann

I just wanted to add my congrats on your little Luke. You know what I miss...Do you remember the smell of Johnsons baby powder? I used to love holding babies right after a bath and just breath in that smell. You know that was a treat right before they give you that other smell. LOL Enjoy Grandma and again Congrats. Love, Joyce

Congratulations Lauri.  I absolutely love the name Luke Michael also.  So glad you could be there away from the snow to enjoy (and spoil) your grandchildren.
Happy Hugs, Libby

I really like the name Luke Michael....enjoy that grandson and also Melanie Rose.

And yes Joyce,  I love that baby smell...and as Frank from "Everybody Loves Raymond" The smell of youth.....not the other smell...LOL

Lauri, I still picture Melanie Rose as a baby -- and now she's the big sister!  Wow!  You will all be blessed by those two little ones.  Congratulations on Luke Michael!

Congratulations grandma! I just love the name too. Isn't it exciting? I am expecting a new grandchild (supposed to be a girl) in June. I remember when Melanie Rose was born, it was close to the birth of our granddaughter Emma Grace.

Enjoy that bundle of joy!

God Bless those little ones!

Ditto on the wonderful name. I would love to have grandchildren to spoil, but not just yet since my two are still in college, LOL.

Congrats, Lauri, and have a wonderful grammy time!

Love, Peg
