and in recognition, I wrote a song....(sung to the tune "Bye Bye Love" by the Everly brothers)

Bye Bye Bras
Goodbye low-cut dress
Hello Prothesis
I think I'm going to cry-hye
Bye bye my bras bye-bye

There go my b**bies
On the surgeons tray
I'm not that happy
to see them go away

But the alternative
Lyin cold in the ground?
I'd rather be B**bless
And be around

Bye bye Bras
Goodbye lowcut dress
Hello prothesis
I think I'm going to cry-hye
Bye bye my Bras bye-bye

Hmmmm, I guess we shouldn't call Simon Cowell just yet...
Although my previous country and western song "I've got a maxi-pad taped to my b**b" was a big hit in my family room.

Thanks Ladies for all of your support - I'll warn everyone to watch out for the pink feathers, and I'll update you as soon as I can.

Love, Chantry

I do believe that you should call Simon. You are ready for the BIG TIME! And, as we all know after last night, he is such a BIG fan of country music! lol

Your attitude is wonderful. Be sure and sing that song for your preop staff and surgeon tomorrow. Go in laughing and come out laughing!

We will be there w/ you! As Ellen said, You are going to be OK!

Hugs...Deb

Shall we all sing "your" song as we gather in the OR with you? Imagine that sight, all of us dressed in pink, feathers floating around singing and dancing to your song... ROTFL Good luck, God Bless, and Hugs, MK

I laughed my head off while singing your song to my DH. That was great you really do have a way with words. I wish you a problem-less surgery and a quick healing process.

Chantry,

Great song.  Actually, I think I sounded rather good!!!

I will be with you tomorrow, holding your hand and losing my fair share of pink feathers.

Blessings and prayers,

Candy
