I just had another nuclear bone scan to check my back out. I may have spondylitis so I have been seeing a Rhuemy for a year. They ordered the scan and there are uptake areas in several places on the spine. I have had MRI's before and nothing ever looks wrong, other than a messed up back from arthritis, etc. I am possitive for a gene that can be connected (or not) with different spondylitus dx. Anyway, I have an MRI on June 16th just to be sure.(again) that it is not mets. The dr.s doubt it, but, of course, with my history we want to be sure. Anyway, if possible, maybe the PCE could be there chanting the "all clear" chant?!
Geez, this is getting old! (SO AM I, LOL) I guess it is just part of the "gift that keeps on giving" right?
Thank you all for being here!
Gail

Gail:  I am sure that we can get the PCE all fired up. I am ready for a trip (having the 3 grandkids home all day now that school is out will drive a old nana nuttier than she is..lol)

I get tired of the tests also. I was due for a ct, MRI and PET scan last month. I told my onco that I didn't want to have them done right then. The idiot nurse scheduled them all in one day! Anyway, at my last treatment they asked if they "could" schedule them again. I said not right now. Tired of tests. Just want to enjoy a little longer knowing that everything is clear. (all of my bloodwork is ok so I'm not worried) Hang in there. I am sure that nothing but arthritis will show up. But, as we all know, better safe than sorry.

Hugs....Deb

Hang in there Gail...I am still traumatized from my bone scan 2 years ago (or was it last year, I forgot already??)...it was pretty unnerving, so I know how you feel...hang in there, we'll be chanting and flying your way! Hopefully Arthur is just making an appearance....

The aches and pains just never go away, do they, Gail. Shouting "All Clear" for you all the way from Minnesota. Hugs, Lauri

Gail - Will be thinking about you as June 16 nears.

I have my next visit with the onc next week. I have had a round mass in my chest on the side where the cancer was ever since my mastectomies. It has been aspirated and nothing was found. It is a little different in shape than it has been. My dh agrees that it has changed somewhat. Trying not to panic or dwell on it just yet. Onc told me at last visit that if it changed or got bigger, she would recommend having it removed. We'll see!!

Anyway, good luck with your MRI and God Bless.

Can someone tell me what PCE is?

Grams, the PCE is our Pink Cloud Express. It's our imaginary plane that takes us to our "sisters" tests, surgeries, or anything they would like support there. Joyce is our captain and always gives us an exciting ride! LOL! We wear pink and many of us have pink boas that we wear, so the patient may see a pink feather or two floating around. We are a fun, but noisey bunch, so we have to be quiet so the Dr can speak. At least we try =) So hop on whenever you can and enjoy the ride!

Gail:

I will be there, disembarking from the PCE with all the others.  You will be in my prayers that it is just Uncle Arthur.

Blessings,

Candy

Gail,
Please look for me. I'm short, as you know so I hope I don't get pushed way in the back. I'm packing tonight for the plane. You are in my prayers. It should be just fine. Best to check though. Lots of love, Roomie, Di

Gail

Just checking in to see if you have any news yet. I missed the PCE so I was unable to see what happened. Sending you lots of hugs.

Bernadette,
I had the MRI today but I probably won't know anything till at least Tues. I will be calling the hospital and getting a copy of the report (as usual). I will let you all know. Thank you all for being with me!

Gail, You are a better man than I am. Last year, I waited 3 months when I hadn't heard anything because I didn't want to call. Finally, my new onc told on me and they sent the last two years' reports. I know, I know. Love, Di

Gail we are still waiting to hear. The PCE is all clean and refueled and ready for its next trip. I have been trying to deal with the lymph thing and typing with fat sausage fingers is the pitts. As everyone who was on board the Pink Cloud Express can tell you landing is always a thill but with one arm out of commission it was a real treat. The ladies were so kind to only casually mention how I raised their hair. That is why I love flying this group. We are all waiting to hear how are you doing. I really really hope and pray all is well. Love and hugs. Joyce *(Capt. Lemonz)

I got a copy of my MRI report today. Nothing serious! At least that I can decipher! At least nothing to do with cancer. Does anyone know what transitional lumbosacral junction is? That is one thing on there. I still have not been able to talk to my Rhuematologist yet. Anyway, just wanted to let you all know I am fine! And THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING WITH ME!!!

Glad you got good news, Gail. Don't know what the lumbosacral junction thingy is. Sounds like a pork chop bone to me. Sending hugs and love, Lauri
