Hi everyone:
Just a quick update on my hectic life here...
Wedding is approaching, only about 6 1/2 weeks away. The scary part now is that everyone says "oh, that is coming up fast!" Well, yeah, as if I did not know! Yikes!

Finalized the linen rental today, still need to do shoes (yuck) and programs and a schedule...but we're actually seeing a light at the end of the wedding tunnel. Cake is ordered, bridesmaid dresses came in yesterday, they started fitting me in my dress (and we'll pad the left side just enough to even me out in the boob area!)....guests are reserving rooms and only one battle on his side about inviting a not-so-close relative.

Honeymoon is booked, we're going on a cruise to the Mediterranean, with ports in Spain, France and Italy.

I check the board a couple times a day, but have had no time to post really. With all the wedding plans and also a hectic schedule at work for the next 6 weeks, time is limited.

Tavish had surgery about 8 weeks ago, he tore his ACL. There is a 12 week recovery period, with no stairs, no running, no jumping. This is very hard to accomplish! We have the steps gated and I have to carry him up and down, he hates it already. All his toys are put away so he can't run, and our walks are short and to the point. I feel so bad for him, but he appears to be healing very well and feeling chipper.

My thoughts are here every day...
L&H,
Lori

Hi Lori

Wow the wedding is almost here! I can remember when you posted about the proposal and the wedding is here already. Iam very happy for you, Lee and Tavish. Im also very jelous about your cruise!!! LOL. It sounds like you will be having a large wedding, how many bridesmaids?

Poor Tavish how on earth did he tear his ACL? I have never heard of a dog doing that. Give him an extra treat for me.

Apparently it is a very common injury with dogs, and surgery is the only option. He was just playing and took a bad step. Poor baby.

We're expecting about 140 people, 4 bridesmaids and 4 on his side, plus a couple kids with token roles.

Lori,

The wedding will be here before you know it and you will find yourself relaxing on your cruise.  Wishing you the best day of your life and a marriage to match.  This is so exciting!

I'm sorry about Tavish.  He must be miserable, not able to play.  Give him a scratch for me.

Kathy

Lori,

Your wedding sounds like it is going to be just beautiful and I am sure that all the hard going into it will be well worth it.  Enjoy that honeymoon, you sure deserve the best.

Give Tavish a treat from me too, ok?

When I read your title, I thought you were talking about still unpacking from the move. LOL But when I realized you were finalizing wedding plans, I got a little more enthusiastic. You sure are down to the wire and it sounds like you have everything well under control. Oh my! Your honeymoon sounds like heaven!!! Places I always wanted to see and this old bod will never make now. I am soooo jealous. Who will take care of Tavish????? I am so sorry to hear he is hurting and can't run and play. I picture him as ths little bundle of love, joy and activity and can only imagine he is chomping at the bit to be free to go again. Give him some squeezes for me.

Hugs, MK

Dear Lori...How can you complain about SHOE shopping??? My husband is convinced that I do not need ANY more shoes...EVER!!! I am suffering from shoe shopping withdrawl!!! It's summer, sandals are my absolute favorites, and I've only bought two pairs this summer.

So try on a few extra pairs of little strappy things for me, okay?

Love and hugs to you and Tavish,

BEV

Wow, you're the busy bee, aren't you?   More like QUEEN Bee, I'd say.

Well, a program printed for a wedding!  I need to know more about what all is going to happen.

The gown thing is so much fun to do.  I'm so happy for you honey.  I'm so glad you have a new lease on life for this lovely event to happen to you.  Please know that I wish you both the best of everything.  Tavish is in my prayers, as are both of you.
