Countdown to the new, hopefully matched, boobies and new nipple!  LOL  Surgery is set for Thursday, the 10th, at 9AM PST.  Would appreciate a room full of pink feathers.  By the way, my surgeon is in a cast and on crutches, so keep an extra watchful eye out, will you?   He claims he'll be OK.  I trust that if he wasn't sure, he wouldn't do it.

While I'm here, for those of you who had the TRAM done, did you ever get a ridge-like hard area under your arm that hurt?  I have that and the general surgeon I saw thinks it is from the reconstruction.  I didn't think to ask the PS, because I was thinking lymph nodes.  I will have the PS check it before the surgery, but the general surgeon isn't concerned about it.

Good luck with your surgery, Kathy. We'll prop the surgeon up if necessary. What is it with the docs anyway? My DH's PCP fell and broke his leg earlier this year and is still on the disabled list. Lauri

Wow PCE will be busy. We will see you on the tenth and Cathi on the eleventh. Pink outfits are going to get a work out. Lots of luck. Best of wishes. Joyce

Good luck on the 10th Kathy.   I'll be aboard the PCE with my pink feathers and prayers.

I did not have a tram, but I have pain in a ridge like line under my arm too. My general surgeon told me that it is normal and that many of his patients complain of that type of pain. He also told me that it is due to the reconstruction surgery. I guess we just have to grin and bear it. Hope you are not in to much discomfort.

I am trying to find my pink go-go boots right now. Good luck on the 10th.

Hugs,

Candy

Candy,

Thanks for telling me you have the same type of ridge.  I was going to have the PS look at it before surgery today, but as you can tell from my other post, it was cancelled.  I feel better knowing it's not that uncommon.

Kathy
