PCE was fueled and ready for Kathy when she got cancelled. I am so sorry Kathy. You let us know when you need us we will be there. Cathi is still scheduled for surgery on the 11th( tomorrow) and PCE is still fueled and ready.  Lets decide on something interesting to make her smile. How about pink quilted tents, and we can all have a sleep over to check on her in the morning? Or would you like to risk another bouncey landing? For those of you that do not know, Cathi made a beautiful BC quilt. Material coming from everyone connected to her journey. I guess that is where I got the pink quilt idea.  Oh yes and the person that brought pink chocolate last trip...... I draw the line. I have pink hats and socks and shirts and boots and boas and who knows what else, but I can not hack pink chocolate. Unless PCE lands on a remote island, and its all the chocolate left, then I might have to eat a piece along with my words about not eating pink chocolate. I know this will make Cathi smile. Anyone have any good ideas to add?

I'll be wearing my pink feathers tomorrow. I agree. Pass on the pink chocolate. The darker the chocolate, the better. Makes a nice accent color to go with the pink, don't you think?

Cathi's quilt is beautiful, but a bit small for a landing pad. I think the PCE is going to be pushing maximum density tomorrow! In high school I had this very fluffy French teacher...purple hair, heavily rouged cheeks, and so many coats of lipstick, her smile will be around long after the rest of her has decayed. Anyway, every year we had a big banquet, French menu, but the same old school cafeteria food, I think, and dear old Lavinia would always show up in this pink caftan, thinking she was the belle of the ball...OMG, you could not look at her and not think of a giant pink marshmallow. I SWEAR she floated in that thing! So I propose we borrow Lavinia's caftan for a landing pad. It was polyester, so the thing won't deteriorate for generations to come! And goodness knows, Lavinia won't be needing the thing anymore...

Seriously though, I'll have Cathi in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow. Wishing you all the best, my dear. Tell those doctors that if they see a pink caftan floating by, it's your "bosom" buddies, so they better make darned sure they treat you right!

Love and hugs,
BEV

Hmm -- a pink quilt for a landing pad cushioned by a pink marshmallow caftan! How about adding layers of pink cotton candy to cushion us (not that Joyce isn't an excellent pilot!). That way we can always pull out a little of the fluffy stuff if we need a snack.

I love you, Cathleen, and am praying for you. Tell your surgeon he needs to scrub up in pink!

Is any of that pink fluffy stuff caramel?  Cathi's quilt was awesome... so much love put into each stitch... she knew who each square was from and told a little story.  Our Cathi is something special.  You can be sure I'll be there with a suitcase packed with pink feathers and prayers for Cath.

Love and Hugs,

Now I think pink chocolate sounds very interesting.  I'm not as equipped with the pink stuff, nor am I as creative in thought, but I'll be there with you.  I would have been there even if I had the surgery.  I would love to see that quilt.

Good luck, Cathi.
