I was hoping you would post and let us know. Please let us know if you need someone to talk to. You know we have been there, so you are with people that will understand better than anyone else in the world. L&H Joyce
How wonderful it would be to see Angels where there are only clouds. How sad it would be to see clouds where there are Angels.

Hi,

I'm sorry to be so slow in getting back to you all.  I had my lumpectomy on the 6th.  The surgeon removed a large piece of tissue (baseball size) and a lymph node.  She called on Friday to tell me the lymph node was benign and there was no further cancer found in the tissue.  I see her tomorrow for follow-up and referel to an onocologist.  It all sounded like good news to me.  She said we would talk more tomorrow.

I've been super sore.  She said that was expected because she had to go down to the chest wall doing the surgery.  I've also been really swollen.

Thank you for asking about me.  I have not been online much the past week.

Hugzzzzz,
Charlene

Charlene, I am so glad you got back to us. I was wondering how you did. Its great to know your node was clear. Please keep in touch. Remember people that have been there are only a click away. If you have any questions make her slow down and talk in terms you understand. Take notes and please make sure you are comfortable with the info you have. We will all be thinking of you. Hugs Joyce
