Hello ladies . . long time no hear from the bandlady of the board . . I am doing well . .still working, although I changed band jobs this fall, taking bi-weekly treatments of Gemzar/Herceptin (# 300 or 400+?) and living life to the fullest.  Kids are now 12, 14, and 21 and I can't believe I'm still here almost 10 years after it all began.  God is good.

I am asking for your comments.  Tuesday night I will be the "motivational speaker" for the 2007 Relay for Life kick off for your county.  I'm throwing around some ideas on the "Top ten reasons it's ok to have cancer . . "  Such as . . getting ready in the morning is a breeze, no bad hair days but there are no hair days. . .etc. and of course . . that cancer in some ways gives you your life back because you realize what life really is . . but then I'm also trying to think of how to motivate teams in their relay for life efforts.  Some thoughts on that are including survivors on all teams, encouraging everyone to spend the night . .

And your thoughts are???  I am open to all and any comments . . plus I would love for you to just say hello.

Hugs to all old and new!

Hi, Jackie!  You are right, long time no hear from.  But always good to hear you are doing well!

I must say that one of my favorite sayings now is: Any day above ground is a good day.  And I have had LOTS of good days since being diagnosed.  Just celebrated 12 years on Saturday since dx.

I'm sure your speech will be inspiring, as are your words and spirit here when you have a minute to drop by.

Thanks for letting us know all is well!!
